With the COVID-19 cases resurging in Guyana, another batch ofBioperfectus Viral Nucleic Acid Extraction Kit (Magnetic Bead Method)were handed over toThe Cooperative Republic of GuyanabyEmbassy of People’s Republic of Chinaon August 24th, 2021.
The handover ceremony was attended by Mr. Hon. Dr. Frank C.S. Anthony, Minister of Health Guyana, Mr. Chen Xilai, Chargé d'affaires of the Chinese Embassy, Economic and Commercial Counsellor, Mr. Hu Hanming as well as Medical Aids to Guyana Team representatives.
It is the second donation handover ceremony held between the two sides. Last year,Bioperfectus Nucleic Acid Extraction System as well as extraction kitswere also included in the donation ceremony, which greatly improved the diagnostic capability in the local hospitals and laboratories.
