On December 4, 2025, a delegation of experts from the National Center For Parasitology Entomology and Malaria Control of Cambodia—a key participant in the “21st Century Maritime Silk Road”—visited the headquarters of Jiangsu Bioperfectus Technologies Inc. in China. Led by Mr. Huy Rekol, Director of the Center, this high-level professional visit marks a significant step for BioPerfectus in implementing the “Belt and Road” initiative and promoting global public health cooperation.
The visiting Cambodian team included Director Huy Rekol, Deputy Director Leang Rithea, Malaria Program Manager Mr. Siv Sovannaroth, and Laboratory Director Mr. Saing Sam Ath. Accompanying them from China were Director Zhu Guoding, Officer Xu Sui, and Officer Liang Cheng of the Malaria Section at the Jiangsu Institute of Schistosomiasis Control. BioPerfectus senior management—including Dr. Joseph Chow, Vice President; Dr. Jin Wei, General Manager of the R&D Center; and Ms. Liu Xixian, Key Account Manager for Overseas Markets—warmly welcomed the delegation and participated throughout the discussions.
During the visit, the Cambodian experts toured BioPerfectus’ headquarters industrial park and technology exhibition hall, gaining an in-depth understanding of the company’s development since its founding in 2010 in China Medical City, its technological innovation system, and its extensive product portfolio. In a subsequent focused symposium, both sides engaged in in-depth and productive discussions on vector-borne infectious diseases, particularly malaria and dengue fever, which pose significant public health risks in Cambodia and Southeast Asia. The experts expressed strong interest in BioPerfectus advanced diagnostic products in this field and exchanged valuable insights on practical applications, technological optimization, and future collaboration directions.

Leveraging Technological Innovation to Contribute to Global Health
As one of China’s leading innovators in molecular diagnostics (stock code: 688399.SH), BioPerfectus is committed to its mission of “serving human health.” The company has long focused on two core areas: infectious disease detection and maternal and child health. Through sustained, high-intensity R&D investment, Bioperfectus has built an integrated industry chain spanning upstream core materials to downstream testing services. Currently, the company offers over 700 products, with applications in more than 100 countries and regions across hospitals, CDCs, and third-party laboratories worldwide.
While consolidating its strengths in molecular diagnostics, BioPerfectus is steadily expanding into high-growth segments such as POCT (point-of-care testing). By continuously broadening technological applications and optimizing its product portfolio, the company provides powerful tools and solutions for early detection, precise prevention, and epidemic monitoring of infectious diseases globally—protecting millions of lives and contributing its “BioPerfectus strength” to the building of a shared global health community.

Implementing the “Belt and Road” Initiative: Early Achievements in Cooperation
Cambodia has been one of the earliest participants and practitioners of the “Belt and Road” initiative. Responding actively to national calls, BioPerfectus has deeply integrated its international strategy with the Belt and Road cooperation concept and has already established strong partnerships with relevant Cambodian institutions. The visit by Cambodia’s national expert team represents a deepening and elevation of prior collaboration. Previously, the company had established solid cooperation with professional institutions such as the Pasteur Institute in Cambodia.
The visit by Cambodia’s national malaria prevention and control experts not only reflects the tangible results of previous collaborations but also provides an important opportunity to further deepen cooperation and expand partnership areas in public health and disease prevention. BioPerfectus looks forward to strengthening these professional partnerships and driving more pragmatic joint initiatives.
Through the export of advanced diagnostic technologies, high-quality products, and comprehensive solutions, BioPerfectus actively supports Belt and Road countries, including Cambodia, in enhancing local disease prevention capabilities, particularly in combating traditional infectious diseases such as malaria. This “teaching a man to fish” approach promotes the development of local public health infrastructure while reinforcing Bioperfectus’ global brand reputation and steadily advancing its long-term vision of becoming a key player in the global diagnostics industry.

The success of this exchange event has established a higher-level platform for China-Cambodia cooperation in healthcare, particularly in tropical disease prevention. Looking ahead, BioPerfectus will continue leveraging its technological strengths to deepen scientific collaboration and technology transfer with Belt and Road countries, jointly addressing global public health challenges and co-creating a new blueprint for a “Healthy Silk Road.”
