SAW-48 is an in-vitro diagnostic medical device that combines sample loading, nucleic acid purification, and PCR setup functions (PCR master mix preparation and nucleic acid pipetting) into one instrument. It has the same basic functions as SAW-96 but is smaller and lighter. The device can process up to 48 samples simultaneously, significantly reducing the turnaround time for test results. SAW-48 automates sample loading, nucleic acid purification, and PCR setup, making STD and HPV detection more efficient.

Cell Nucleic Acid Extraction Kit (Magnetic Bead Method) is a complementary product to the SAW-48. It is designed for the extraction, enrichment, and purification of nucleic acids from various samples, including cervical swabs and liquid-based cells, which are the most common sample types for STD and HPV detection.

The combination of SAW-48 and Cell Nucleic Acid Extraction Kit (Magnetic Bead Method) facilitates automated STD and HPV detection.
